BREAKING: Photos Of President Buhari While Visiting Kuje Correctional Centre After Terror Attack

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday visited the Kuje Prison which was attacked by terrorists on Tuesday night.

Buhari arrived the Kuje Correctional Facility, in the afternoon and inspected the ruins after terrorists bombed the prison, with over 800 inmates escaping.

Four inmates of the Kuje Custodial Centre died and 879 escaped during the attack by the terrorists on Tuesday night.

Buhari was surrounded by a host of security operatives, including the DSS, the Military and the Police during the brief tour.

He inspected vehicles that were destroyed and was escorted around the facility for an assessment of damaged infrastructure.

If you recall, President Buhari had paid an unscheduled visit to the Kuje Correctional Centre shortly before departing for Senegal.

Buhari was on his way to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport where he would be airlifted to Dakar, Senegal, for the International Development Association (IDA) for Africa Summit.

There had been public outcry over the decision of the President to go ahead with the Dakar trip after the terrorist attack on the correctional centre and another one involving his advance team to Daura, around Dutsinma, Katsina State, also on Tuesday evening.
