BREAKING: Osinbajo Hospitalized, Undergoes Surgery
According to reports, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is currently being treated in a hospital for recurring leg pain that he allegedly developed while playing squash.
The Vice President’s Office’s Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, tweeted about it.
The medics treating Professor Osinbajo would provide an update later on Saturday, according to the Vice President’s spokesman, Laolu Akandeoj, on Twitter.
He kept quiet about which hospital the Vice President was brought to.
The tweet read: “VP Osinbajo is in the hospital today for a surgical procedure on account of a recurrent pain in the leg possibly sustained from an injury while playing squash.
“His doctors would give an update of the treatment later today-Laolu Akande, VP’s Spokesperson.”
Attempts made to get more information on the matter did not yield results as the Vice President’s spokesman did not pick calls on his gsm .
