BREAKING: Oshiomhole’s Camp Loses As Okpebholo Wins Edo APC Ticket

The camp of Adams Oshiomhole has lost out as Senator Monday Okpebholo (Edo Central) emerged the winner of the Edo All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship direct primary election.

The declaration was made by Cross River Governor Bassey Otu, who chaired the Edo APC shadow poll. After collating the results from the 18 local government areas, Governor Otu announced the outcome at Lushville Hotel and Suites, Gapiona Avenue, Government Reservation Area (GRA), Benin.

Senator Okpebholo secured victory with 12,433 votes, surpassing the representative of Ovia constituency in the House of Representatives, Dennis Idahosa, who garnered 6,541 votes.
