BREAKING: National Assembly’ll Pass 2022 Budget Before End Of 2021 —Lawan

The National Assembly is committed to passing the 2022 Appropriation Bill by the end of the year, according to Senate President Ahmad Lawan.

In his opening remarks at the budget laying event, Lawan remembered how the 9th National Assembly vowed and delivered on its promise to return Nigeria on a January-to-December budget cycle with the 2020 budget. He went on to say that the accomplishment was duplicated with the budget for 2021.

While praising President Muhammadu Buhari (retd) for presenting the budget early, the Senate President stated that the lawmakers will pass the money bill before the end of 2021 in order to keep the new budget cycle going.
