BREAKING: Hours After Deleting Tweet, Twitter Deletes Buhari’s ‘Genocidal Threat’ Video

On Thursday evening, Twitter, the social media giant, erased another another message from President Muhammadu Buhari’s account.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s infamous post threatening “Genocidal” violence against the Igbos was deleted by Twitter on Wednesday, making headlines.

The Nigerian government was outraged by the development, and they spent no time in criticizing the site.

Lai Mohammed, Nigeria’s Minister of Information, described the move as “strange,” accusing Twitter of “double standards.” On Thursday, however, the website removed a video of President Buhari making divisive remarks regarding the 1967 civil war.
