BREAKING: Hooligans pushing for regime change, say northern governors
The Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF) has expressed regrets that “diabolical influencers in form of hooliganism, ethno-religious bigots and even political marauders” are bent on pulling the nation down and pushing for regime change.
The governors also wondered why protests have persisted despite the “magnanimity exhibited” by the federal and state governments.
In a communique issued at the end of their emergency meeting in Kaduna on Thursday, the governors urged Nigerians to resist “enemies of the nation” by supporting the president.
According to the communique signed by Simon Lalong, chairman of the forum and governor of Plateau state, the forum extensively discussed issues bordering on national security, particularly the nationwide #EndSARS protest which has led to the wanton destruction of lives and properties in some parts of the country.
“Concerned by these development, the Northern States Governors Forum met and deliberated on the matter,” the communique.
“Forum commiserates with those who lost their lives, the wounded and those whose properties where destroyed.
“Forum strongly sues for unity and peaceful co-existence of all citizens and groups of people in Nigeria and urge all Nigerians to see themselves as equal citizens of the country as the unity of Nigeria cannot be compromised.
“The forum regrets the diabolical influencers in form of hooliganism, ethno-religious bigots and even political marauders who are bent on pulling the nation down its knees and pushing for regime change.
“The forum called on all Nigerians to resist these enemies of the nation by supporting Mr. President, the federal government and democracy at large.
“Forum appeal to all citizens to restraint themselves from unwarranted disposition of sentiments, harassment and
intimidation of other citizens resident in their home states. Forum notes that all these are antics of the enemies of the country who are violently pushing for regime change outside the ballot box.
“Forum also notes the heavy presence of external influencers both locally and internationally and called on all citizens particularly community leaders and youth groups to be very vigilant and report the presence of such people to security agencies. The forum called for comprehensive and robust reforms in the police force.”
The governors also advocated for the constitution of judicial commission of enquiry to investigate all levels of
destruction and killings during the #EndSARS protest.
They also called “for greater synergy between the state and the federal government in strengthening the unity, oneness and overall development of the country.”
“The forum is in synergy with other governors in the South- West, South-South and South-East to address this challenges of nationhood headlong.”
Why did the president keep mum over the demands of the protesters as if he is not in the country.

We need true federalism, State Resource Control if we still want to be one cause from the look of things we are not one, we have never been and the way things are going now, we can never be unless each state is allowed to control their resources because the suffering is now unbearable and we the youths can not take it anymore,we only have criminals in the government who are enhanced by the corrupted manipulated constitution and we tired of dieying in silence while the so called leaders enrich themselves with the national cake, Enough is Enough, it have to stop now or never , these is our sixty years of Independence without Electricity, Good roads,Water Supply, Good Governance, Religious and Ethnic war and hatred. And every government that comes promises to give us all this for the past sixty years now and we’re still suffering from it and they want the youths to be happy. Most of our youths now were not born when Buhari was the Military Head it State and now in our own youth age he’s still leading us, while others moving forward we are going backwards, I pray that international community should come to our rescue because even if one million people should die in this protests,they can not change their minds cause “They don’t really care about us”
MY HUMBLE ADVICE FOR THE PRESIDENCY:
Federal Republic of Nigeria.
With due respect to you Mr President Buhari, if actually you are a Nigerian; if actually you have sworn an oath of allegiance; if actually you have promised in your oath to protect lives and property and activity in Nigeria, then do not allow the fighting and blood shed to happen. See how you can make the decisions that will favour the electorates. Because from the looks of things there is confusion amongst the people of Nigeria under your leadership. The Spirit of war looms. Please Mr President, stop the blood shed now!!!
The natural and man made assets/wealth of this country belongs to the electorates and you were an electorate before we decided you should advance to the top and help us distribute these assets/wealth justifiably amongst us so we can live as one in Nigeria. Or isn’t it true that we elected you to office? or is it true that you rigged the election? Please lay down your pride for the Glory of a one Nigeria to keep glowing, your tomorrow and that of your biological children holds More than today. Please do not put them at risk of becoming” The Hunted ” even amongst the international community. And do remember that the people who are Dead already and the ones that may still die, definitely are someone else’s children, and you as today’s leader may not find their forgiveness for life.
Yes the northern governors have shown a true picture of readiness to fight for you, the loss of life and property not withstanding BUT DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM!!!. Fight back tribalism!
A question for you Mr President” Tenure Change ” and “The PEACE, UNITY and PROGRESS ” of Nigeria, Which one is more important, and which of them have you sworn in your oath of office to uphold?
Please do not forget the message in the interpretation of The ” National Coat of Arm “. You are the chief of army staff; The commander in chief of the armed forces ruling council (AFRC), and so you should be the one to uphold the national coat of arm, the national flag, the national anthem, and the national pledge. Except it’s true that you are not Nigerian? Or is it true that you are not the original Buhari? It’s in your hands to prove your loyalty to this nation if truely our blood runs in your veins.
The then President Goodluck Jonathan had people to fight for him but he swallowed his pride, he foresaw the blood shed and he remembered His oath of allegiance to this nation Nigeria and he swallowed his pride, Mr Goodluck Jonathan knew that it was a ” Tenure Change ” yet he swallowed his pride, He had wrong advisers with him but he swallowed his pride. what a man of integrity!!!.
The reason was that he is a true Nigerian who loves the nation Nigeria including the northern governors who today are like vampires that don’t mind to see the people’s blood spilled, President Goodluck Jonathan refused to allow deliberate blood shed of the citizens under his leadership hence the peaceful handover and change of tenure to you . And today his good work speaks for him even behind his back.
Please Mr President Buhari the decision of your predecessor Mr President Goodluck Jonathan at a time like this during his tenure is worth emulating. Please don’t forget that the world is looking at how much man of integrity and intelligence that you are. Those wrong advisers around you will not share in the shame and consequences that may await your family even if they turn out not to be Nigerians by birth and are not resident here in Nigeria. Also note that the people that will steal from you first are the ones you see around you now. So please ignore their wrongful advice and fight hard to uphold the love for humanity, it’s going to pay you handsomely in return, Allah will not fail you in this and you know it.
MAKE WISE DECISION TO FAVOUR THE ELECTORATES BECAUSE FOR THEIR SAKES YOU HAVE ASCENDED THE THRONE, SO JUST DO WHAT THEY WANTED NOW AND LET THEM EXPERIENCE THEIR DECISION AND LIVE WITH IT AND IF FOR A WHILE IT DOESN’T FAVOUR THEM AGAIN, THEN YOU WILL SEE THEM DANCING TO YOUR INITIAL TUNE PLEASE.
