BREAKING: Gov. Bello Appoints Opaluwa New Attah Igala

Matthew Alhaji Opaluwa has been named the new Attah Igala by Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.

Dr Michael Ameh Oboni II, who has been on an ancestral voyage since 2020, will be succeeded by Opaluwa.

Barrister Salami Ozigi, the Kogi State Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, made the announcement shortly after the State Executive Council Meeting on Monday, which was presided over by the State Governor.

He stated that Opaluwa’s appointment was made in accordance with the law.
