BREAKING: Ex-South African President, Zuma Sentenced To 15 Months Imprisonment

Former South African President Jacob Zuma was sentenced to 15 months in prison for contempt of court.

On Tuesday, Judge Sisi Khampepe announced that Zuma had been found guilty of contempt of court for refusing to appear before a graft panel.

The Judge stated, “The Constitutional Court can do nothing but conclude that Mr Zuma is guilty of the crime of contempt of court.”

Recall that the 79-year-old Zuma was forced to resign as president in 2018 due to allegations of corruption.

The former president had rejected a constitutional court order in January to attend at a corruption investigation while in office.
