BREAKING: Court Sends Late Osinachi’s Husband To Kuje Prison

Peter Nwachukwu, the late gospel singer Osinachi’s spouse, has been remanded in the Kuje jail by a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Wuse.

In a Friday judgement, Justice Ngozi Nwosu-Iheme ruled that Nwachukwu be held in custody until the end of his trial.

The judge made the decision after Nwachukwu pleaded not guilty to the 23-count indictment presented against him by the Attorney General of the Federation, which included domestic violence and homicide, among other things (AGF).

She granted an accelerated hearing and postponed the start of the trial until June 16 at 12 p.m.

Until her death, Osinachi was the lead gospel vocalist of the Dunamis Church in Abuja.
