BREAKING: Court sacks PDP governorship candidate in Kano

The Federal High Court sitting in Kano has sacked the Kano state gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The judge,  Justice Ambrose Lewis, said the elections of Abba Kabir Yusuf as Kano PDP Gubernatorial candidate is illegal and an exercise in nullity.
Justice Ambrose Lewis while delivering his judgment on the case brought before him by one of the gubernatorial aspirants in Kano Ibrahim ElAmin  did not categorically said what the party (PDP) would do with the position of the Gubernatorial seat.
The Judge further insisted that there was no elections of a gubernatorial position of the PDP in Kano and the production of Abba Kabir Yusuf as the candidate of the Party was illegal.
Ibrahim ElAmin Little was among several other aspirants of the Party PDP who could not get through to fully participates in the Primaries of the party because according to him the Kwankwasiyya group loyal to former Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso had hijacked the exercise.
Other aspirants who allegedly denied access to party primaries included Jaafar Sani Bello who also went to Court challenging the elections of Abba Kabir Yusuf as PDP Candidate but lost on technical grounds.
