BREAKING: Buhari Meets Ohaneze, Southeast Leaders

President Muhammadu Buhari is holding talks with Ohanézè Ndgbo and other Southeast leaders.

The meeting is taking place in Government House Abakaliki’s New Exco Chambers.

George Obiozor, the President-General of Ohanézè, is bringing other members of the apex socio-cultural organisation to the gathering.

Governor David Umahi is also in attendance, as is the Chairman of the Southeast Governors Forum.

Ohanézè is anticipated to provide Buhari with crucial regional challenges.

This includes the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Other topics anticipated to be covered are the presidency of the southeast extraction and the region’s security status.
