BREAKING: At Least 30 Killed In Shooting At Children’s Centre In Thailand

A gun and knife attack on a children’s center in northeast Thailand on Thursday resulted in at least 30 deaths, according to local authorities.

There were at least 23 children among the dead.

According to Thai media, the slaughter took place in the Nong Bua Lamphu Province, and casualties included parents and young children.

The attacker has been recognized by the authorities as a recently discharged former police officer.

Uncertainty surrounds the attack’s motivation.

Reports in Thailand say the officer had recently been dismissed, BBC reports.

The gunman has been identified by police as 34-year-old Panya Kamrab. Police say he was last seen driving a white four-door Toyota pick-up truck with Bangkok registration plates.
