BREAKING: APC Vows To Reclaim State After Supreme Court Judgment

The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has acknowledged the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the appeal court judgment thereby affirming the election of Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State.

The Zamfara State chapter of the APC through its publicity secretary, emphasized that politics should not be treated as a do-or-die affair.

According to the party’s statement, supporters are urged to accept the judgment as the rightful decision of God, with the assurance that the year 2027 will provide another opportunity to contest for power.

“I do not believe that the party has lost, but I believe that the courts have cheated us,” he added. “But 2027 is another year, and we are very confident that we will regain our mandate from the ruling PDP government.”

Following the Supreme Court’s ruling, the State has maintained relative peace, with no recorded casualties. Additionally, there are reports that various political parties in the State are actively seeking alliances with the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
