BREAKING: Ademola Adeleke Wins Osun Governorship Election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Ademola Adeleke has been announced the winner of the Osun governorship race.

On Sunday morning, Toyin Ogundipe, the state’s returning officer, declared the election’s outcome.

In order to defeat his closest rival, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who received 375,027 votes, Adeleke received 403, 371 votes.

While the incumbent governor prevailed in 13 LGAs, the PDP candidate won 17 LGAs.

With 10,104 votes, Kehinde Atanda of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) finished far behind Yusuf Lasun of the Labour Party (LP), who received 2729 votes.
