An collision occurred on the Maryland axis of the famed Ikorodu route in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial metropolis.
According to Platforms Africa, a recent accident between a white NISSAN mass transport bus and a fully laden truck has impacted vehicular traffic on the route.
As of press time, the reason of the accident, which occurred just a few meters from Shoprite, as well as the number of casualties, are still unknown.
“The bus fell flat on its side while on Collision with the truck. As we speak, officials of LASEMA have arrived the scene for rescue operations. We equally hope the two vehicles would be evacuated from the road to ease trandic gridlock that the accidenr has caused,” resident of Obanikoro, Seun Dada, who was at the scene, said.
