BREAKING: Abba Kyari, Four Others Handed Over NDLEA

The Nigerian Police have arrested and handed over DCP Abba Kyari, the suspended Commander of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT), and four other police officers linked to drug trafficking by the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), for tampering with illicit drugs investigations and other unprofessional activities in the country.

ACP Sunday Ubuah, ASP Bawa James, Inspr. Simon Agrigba, and John Nuhu were among those arrested and handed over to the NDLEA. Meanwhile, ASP John Umoru has been declared wanted after allegedly fleeing.

According to the police, the policemen arrested have been turned over to the NDLEA for investigations into criminal conspiracy and tampering with exhibits in a case of illicit drug trafficking involving a permanent global drug cartel.
