Seven Family Members Die After Dinner In Zamfara State

According to reports, at least seven members of one family in Zamfara State have perished after consuming a native evening dish called “dambu,” SaharaReporters has learned.

The horrifying occurrence took place on Monday in the village of Danbaza in the State’s Maradun Local Government Area.

According to the authorities, the victims include a man’s two wives and their five children.

Mohammed Shehu, the Zamfara State police command’s spokesperson, told journalists that the command had started looking into the circumstances behind the fatalities.

“The incident happened on Monday immediately after the family took the meal prepared as their dinner.

“The police have taken samples of the meal for analysis, and I assure the general public that results will be released to newsmen”, he said.
