An aide to Nigeria’s minister of interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Ileowo Olamide Okikiowo has via Facebook mocked Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola over his recent order to discontinue court case against five APC caucus leaders.

Gboyega Oyetola, had urged the state’s acting chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun, to drop the court lawsuit against several party chieftains who attacked the party’s office with armed thugs a fortnight ago.

Recall on Monday, Rasaq Salinsile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State Caretaker Secretary, and Adelowo Adebiyi, the party’s former Chairman, were arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate’s Court.

Former Commissioner for Works and Transports, among the other five people charged, Former Commissioners for Youth, Sports, and Special Needs Kazeem Salami, Com. Biyi Odunlade, former Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Hon. Idowu Korede, Alaba Popoola, and Azeez Adekunle

Governor Gboyega, on the other hand, ordered the case against them to be dropped on Tuesday.

In a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, he issued the order.

Well, Aregbesola’s aide, Ileowo, pounced on this as he took to Facebook to take a swipe at the governor.
