Again, Suspected Cultists Kill Two In Ilorin, Kwara

Two people were reportedly slain by suspected cultists in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, on Thursday.

According to the DAILY POST, they were killed around 6 p.m. in the Alagbado area of the State capital.

On Thursday, it was the second violent strike.

Abdulazeez, a tailor from Alagbado Area, and his companion, whose name was not revealed, were the two victims.

Police officers from the Nigerian Police Force’s Oja-Oba division evacuated the bodies of the two victims.

The horrific tragedy has sent residents of the Alagbado village into a state of terror.

Recall that on Thursday afternoon, two cult groups known as Eiye and Ayee clashed at the Kwara Polytechnic’s Institute of Technology’s tiny campus ( IOT).

In the vicious battle, one person is said to have died, while two others were critically injured and taken to the hospital.

Security sources confirmed the development, but the Spokesman of the State police command, Mr Okasanmi Ajayi told DAILY POST that, ” we are still on it. Presently, I don’t have the details of the incident yet.”
