BREAKING: Senators Support Kwara Governor, Gisown Lai Mohammed
Senators from Kwara State announced their full support for Governor Abdurahman Abdulrazaq on Wednesday, characterizing him as the true leader of the APC in the state.
While speaking to journalists in Abuja, Senators Ibrahim Oloriegbe (Kwara Central), Lola Ashiru (Kwara South), and Umar Sadiq (Kwara North) declared this.
They stated that all funds raised by the APC in the state to prosecute the 2019 elections were wisely spent under the governor’s supervision.
The senators said that when the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, indicated that Kwara State had “entered one-chance” under the current administration, he was not speaking for the entire party.
The legislators also stated that membership registration revalidation will begin soon, allowing individuals who had yet to join to do so before the state party’s congress.
