AFCON FINAL: You Sure Say Na God Call You So- Nigerians Roast Yul Edochie After His Prophecy Failed

Nollywood actor and pastor, Yul Edochie, faced heavy criticism after a prophecy he made about the AFCON 2023 final turned out to be incorrect.

The Super Eagles suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Ivory Coast in a thrilling match on Sunday night in Abidjan.

In a post on his Instagram page before the match, Yul predicted that the Super Eagles would defeat the Ivory Coast without the need for a penalty shootout.

He wrote, “Today’s game will not get a penalty shootout. Nigeria will defeat the Ivory Coast comfortably.”

However, following the Super Eagles’ loss, Nigerians flooded Yul’s Instagram page to express their disappointment and label his prophecy as ‘fake.’
