2023: I Have Millions Of Followers To Defeat APC – Funke Akindele
The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) deputy governor candidate for Lagos State, Funke Akindele, has stated why she will defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 election.
Recall that the APC had said that Funke, the PDP’s deputy gubernatorial candidate, had nothing to offer and would lose the upcoming poll.
Funke said that she has over 20 million followers on social media who are prepared to vote for her when asked how she planned to unseat the ruling party in Lagos during an interview with Channels Tv on Thursday.
In addition to her social media fans, she bragged about how many people in Lagos State at large adore her.
Funke said: “I have the numbers, I have fans and followers and I’m true to myself.
“I have more than 20m fans on social media and also at the grassroots level.
“I have fans at the grassroots level outside Ikorodu ready to support me and I’m true to myself. What I’m coming in is to change the lives of Lagosians.
“I’m here to provide solutions in Lagos. I’m in the system, I’m in the pain, we all know where the shoe pinches us.”
