Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Davido, couldn’t resist teasing Canadian rapper Drake after the latter lost a hefty £478,000 ($615,000) bet on Francis Ngannou to beat Anthony Joshua in their recent heavyweight boxing match.

Drake shared his betting slip on Instagram, only to face disappointment as Joshua emerged victorious by knocking out Ngannou in just two rounds.

Commenting on Drake’s post, Davido playfully taunted the OVO boss for his misfortune, saying in Pidgin, “Ur ticket don cut.”

Before the highly anticipated bout, Davido had declared his support for Anthony Joshua, citing their shared Nigerian heritage. He expressed his sentiments on his X handle, saying, “As a Nigerian of course I want AJ to win … but e get one soft spirit wey this Francis get and plus his story again … u go come Dey use style gbadun him way!!
