Ukraine Military Announces First Major Success Against Russia

According to CNN, the Ukrainian military has achieved its first big victory by destroying a Russian tank in western Kyiv.

The Ukrainian military has given its first description of the blasts that shook western Kyiv early Saturday.

The Ukrainian Soldiers Law Enforcement Service announced that the country’s military had “destroyed a column of occupiers’ equipment” in Kyiv’s Beresteiska area.

“According to preliminary information, it is about 2 cars, 2 trucks with ammunition, and also with the help of NLAW anti-tank missiles an enemy tank was destroyed,” said the service, according to CNN..

In the weeks leading up to Russia’s invasion, the UK provided Ukraine with NLAW anti-tank missiles.

Ukraine is putting up a robust fight against Russian troops led by President Vladimir Putin, who invaded the neighboring country on Thursday.
