Wedding: Osinbajo lands in Kano, Buhari to fly in from Yola
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has arrived at Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano for the wedding of President Muhammadu Buhari’s only son.
Yusuf, Buhari’s son, is getting married to Zahra, daughter of Alhaji Nasir Bayero, Emir of Bichi.
Osinbajo was received by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano.
Both men alongside other top government officials are waiting for the president, who is expected to depart Yola, Adamawa state capital, any moment from now.
Buhari left Abuja for Yola to condole with the family of Ahmad Joda, elder statesman, who died last week.
Security has been beefed up all around Kano for the wedding.
