Oborevwori polled 597 votes out of total 824 ballots cast by delegates at the PDP governorship primaries held yesterday, May 25, in Delta State.
The lawmaker will fly the PDP flag in what is expected to be a tightly contested gubernatorial election in 2023.
Other candidates expected to contest for the governorship seat includes current Deputy Senate President, Omo-Agege, who is expected to clinch the All Progressive Congress, APC,
ticket.
