Unknown Gunmen on May 4th, 2022, staged a broad daylight patrol in Ariaria International Market Aba, Abia state.
This is coming barely a week after the murder of a military couple on transit to Imo State.
The ‘gunmen,’ all dressed in black, displayed various weapons and marched amidst shouts from market traders, according to eyewitness testimonies and footage from the incident.
They also announced a mandatory ‘sit-at-home’ on the 5th and 6th of May 2022 to protest President Muhammadu Buhari’s state visit to Ebonyi State.
