Trouble For Jailed Ekweremadu As Fresh Case Implicates Him In UK

The London Metropolitan Police is currently investigating a new aspect related to the high-profile conviction of former Nigerian Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, who was sentenced to ten years in a British prison for human trafficking in 2023.

This update comes from the newly released documentary ”Daniel vs Ekweremadu”, created by award-winning filmmaker and TV host Chude Jideonwo. The first installment of the two-part docu-series, which premiered on August 23, delves into the scandal involving Ekweremadu, his wife Beatrice, and their associate Dr. Obinna Obeta. They were convicted under the UK’s Modern Slavery Law for organ harvesting.

The documentary reveals a new development through an email from Alexandra Meek, a senior communications manager for the MET Police. The email, featured in the film, states: “On Tuesday, 8 November 2022, detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime arrested a woman on suspicion of conspiracy to exploit for the purposes of organ harvesting. The woman, who is in her 50s, has been released under investigation. Enquiries remain ongoing.”

This confirmation from Meek underscores that the MET Police’s ongoing investigation is closely tied to the Ekweremadu case, further heightening the controversy.

”Daniel vs Ekweremadu”, available exclusively on withChude.com, provides unique access to key figures involved in the case, including British prosecutors, police, and the family of the victim-survivor, known as “Daniel.”
