Top Politician, Senator Doguwa Dumps APC After Calling Out Tinubu’s Govt (PHOTO)

Senator Masaud Doguwa, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, has officially defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

His decision to switch parties follows his criticism of the administration led by President Bola Tinubu, accusing it of lacking direction and implementing policies that have exacerbated poverty across the nation.

In a statement he personally signed, Senator Doguwa outlined his reasons for leaving the APC, citing feelings of being underutilized and dissatisfaction with the party’s implementation of policies detrimental to the populace. He expressed disappointment that despite his and his supporters’ wealth of political experience, they were not actively involved in party activities or given opportunities to contribute meaningfully.

“In politics, failing to engage highly experienced politicians by assigning them political responsibilities renders them politically irrelevant and drives them to seek engagement elsewhere. Highly experienced politicians do not wish to remain idle,” the statement emphasized.

Senator Doguwa also criticized the APC government for its policies, which he argued were not aligned with his political ideology and were detrimental to the welfare of ordinary citizens.
