Top Nigerian Lawmaker Dies In India
The Adamawa State House of Assembly mourns the loss of its member representing Ganye constituency, Hon Abdulmalik Jauro Musa, who passed away in the early hours of Friday, May 24, while undergoing medical treatment in India.
Abdulmalik Musa, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), served as the deputy minority whip in the House, which is predominantly composed of members from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a tribute, a friend of the deceased, Abdurasheed Takai, expressed condolences, saying, “May death be a rest to you, Hon Abdulmalik Musa Jauro.”
The APC, in a statement released by the state publicity secretary, Mohammed Abdullahi, expressed shock and extended heartfelt condolences to Musa’s immediate family, colleagues in the House of Assembly, friends, well-wishers, and the entire APC family in Ganye Local Government Area.
