JUST IN: Robbers Attack Ayefele’s Radio Station During Live Broadcast

Fresh FM, one of Ibadan’s private radio stations, was attacked by armed robbers in the early hours of Sunday.

According to our source, the radio station was in the middle of a live broadcast when the hoodlums broke in and hauled laptop computers, phones, and personal effects of staff members.

According to a member of the radio station’s employees, the robbers broke inside the station, which is located in Ibadan’s Challenge area, about 6:30 a.m.

“No fatality. No one was injured, they just took away valuables,” he said.

As of the time of reporting this article, Adewale Osifeso, the Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, could not be reached for comment on the event.
