There Will Be No Election In Yorubaland In 2023 — Sunday Igboho

Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba liberation fighter, claims that there would be no election in the South-West states in 2023.

Igboho made the revelation while speaking with other agitators at a demonstration in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, on Saturday to demand the Yoruba nation.

He claimed that the Yoruba people must now depart because they are no longer a slave to the northerners.

Ighoho called for Yoruba unity and for all those who have been wronged to join together.

The Yoruba freedom fighter also demanded that all Odua Peoples Congress (OPC) members detained in connection with the arrest of Fulani warlord Isikilu Wakili in Ibarapa be released immediately by the Oyo and Federal governments, as well as the Nigeria Police Force.

Remember that the Oyo State Police Command said that it had arrested certain OPC members in connection with Wakili’s earlier arrest.

During the gathering, though, Ighoho urged against their continuing arrest.

He said, “I urge the Oyo, Federal Governments and police to release OPC member who arrested Fulani herdsmen terrorising Yoruba people in Ibarapa land immediately, before all, Yorubas will come out en masse to protest against it.

“They apprehended some Fulanis who were disrupting the peace of Ibarapa and handed them over to the police. But the Oyo State Police and Nigerian Government now arrested them which should not be so.”
