JUST IN: Senators Uncover Errors In Tinubu’s Ministerial Nominee’s Certificate

One of the ministerial nominees being screened by the Senate, Professor Joseph Utsev, has been accused of age discrepancy.

Senators pointed out according to his Curriculum Vitae, he was born in 1980 and started primary school three years after in 1984.

Akpabio, while reacting to the allegation, said: “He was three years old when he started his primary education. He finished six years later. He was the classmate of Abba Moro, let us also see if he (Moro) started primary school at age three.”

Abba Moro, in his intervention, said: “The discrepancy probably came from a typographical error. Let us give him the benefit of the doubt. He has sufficiently discharged himself and he should be asked to take a bow and go.”

“Records don’t lie and I believe that Professor Ustev has sufficiently explained himself,” he said.

Taking the nominee’s explanation into account, Akpabio, expressed the need for the nominee to review his certificates to verify any possible typographical errors. He acknowledged the lengthy list of nominees to be screened that day, urging Professor Ustev to ensure the accuracy of his certificates.
