Suspected Fulani Militias Kill Six In Fresh Southern Kaduna Attack

On Monday night, suspected Fulani militias invaded Unguwan Bulus in Zaman Dabo community, Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, murdering roughly six people, wounding others, and setting fire to houses and belongings.

While the inhabitants were sleeping, alleged Fulani militias were said to have entered the village in huge numbers with sophisticated weapons.

According to the DAILY POST, one of the attackers was badly hurt and is being treated in a hospital.

According to the source, the suspected Fulani militias arrived around 10 p.m. and began shooting indiscriminately, killing the victims.

He stated, “The attacks by the suspected Fulani militias have gone unabated without the government coming up with any concrete steps to bring the ugly incidences to end the unwanted killings and destruction of properties of the victims.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, could not be reached for confirmation as he did not respond to calls put through to his phone.
