IPOB:Nnamd Kanu’s Lawyers Storm Abuja Court Ahead Of Today’s Bail Battle

The attorneys for Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, have stormed the Federal High Court in Abuja ahead of the court struggle for bail later today.

Mr Ifeanyi Ejiofor’s legal team appeared at the court as early as 8 a.m., with over 50 others already inside.

However, unlike the previous proceedings, security is relaxed from the Court’s main gate to that of the Court door.

But for the presence of Kanu’s lawyers, there has been nothing to suggest that the IPOB leader would be brought to court.

At the time of this report, it could not be ascertained if the detained Biafran leader would appear in court physically.

NEWS DIRECT, however, gathered that Kanu’s bail motion would be entertained by Justice Binta Nyako later in the day after attending to regular matters slated for the day.

Our correspondent also gathered that the Judge has instructed that the court room be cleaned before Kanu’s matter would be called.
