BREAKING: FEC Approves 20% Salary Upgrade For Police Officers

The Nigeria Police Force has received a 20% pay raise from the Federal Government.

Muhammad Dingyadi, Minister of Police Affairs, told State House Correspondents in Abuja on Wednesday after the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, presided over the Federal Executive Council meeting (retd.).

He also stated that the rise will begin in January 2022.

The upward evaluation, according to Dingyadi, is a result of the issues presented during the #EndSARS protests in October 2020.

He claims the action is intended to increase police morale across the country.
