“God Will Not Forgive President Buhari If Nigeria Splits” — Gani Adams

Iba Gani Adams, the Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba territory, said yesterday that if Nigeria goes to war, God will not forgive President Muhammadu Buhari.

Adams raised the alarm at his 51st birthday Thanksgiving service, held at Saviour Ministries Cherubim & Seraphim Worldwide, Alausa, Lagos, yesterday, while voicing concern about the country’s growing insecurity.

He said the demands for secession are real and valid, and that they are simply a reflection of the federal government’s inability to resolve pressing issues that threaten the country’s foundation and future.

Iba Adams expressed his displeasure with President Muhammadu Buhari’s lackluster response to the country’s numerous security problems, claiming that Nigeria has never had it so bad as it does now, with killer bandits sweeping the country.

He went on to say that President Buhari’s silence on the country’s security situation isn’t golden, and that the president’s body language is already fueling division in Nigeria.

“Schools are being shut, churches, mosques are not spared. Bandits are gradually leading the country into a tailspin and  the president seems to have been bereft of ideas.

“What we experience daily now in Nigeria is enough to set the country on fire. A section of the country lording itself over other sections, yet, they said we shouldn’t talk, that our call for O’odua Republic was done in bad faith. How can you explain the killings, kidnappings and banditry spreading in North, East, West and South?”
