Shehu Sani Mocks Buhari For Eulogising Ibrahim Mantu After Death
Former legislator Shehu Sani has criticized President Muhammadu Buhari for eulogizing Ibrahim Mantu, the former Deputy Senate President, as a peacemaker and bridge-builder following his death.
On Tuesday at 2 a.m., the former federal legislator died in a private hospital in Abuja. He had been sick for nine days, according to reports.
And, in response to the tragic news, Buhari expressed condolences to leaders and members of the National Assembly, as well as friends and political allies of the former Senate leader, through his spokesman, Femi Adesina.
Mantu, according to Buhari, dedicated his life to the service of his people, and his legacy of reconciliation and peaceful coexistence will be remembered forever.
Mantu, according to Buhari, brought more cohesion to his state and the country as a whole.
And in reaction, Sani tweeted, “The Government eulogised Late Senator Mantu as a bridge builder and a peacemaker.
