Wangna Miso, the sextape victim, has shared her experience involving Senator Ishaku Abbo, detailing their interactions during his senatorial campaign. Miso and her husband supported his campaign, traveling extensively to promote him. After the campaign, Senator Abbo sent money to her account.
She stated that she was surprised when Senator Abbo later revealed that the money was meant for her to rent an apartment and leave her husband. Despite his persistent attempts to contact her, she began to ignore him. She further explained that Abbo sent an additional one million naira through a friend to cover her rent, but claimed that the total amount of support he provided was less than he had implied and often only partial.
She said in an interview with Trust TV, “After the fight with his wife, he wanted to settle grudges and said that we should put our hands together and go campaign for him. He was contesting for Senator, which we did. We went from street to street, ward to ward, campaigning for him together with her. After a lot of stress and problems during the campaign, when we came back, he sent 2.5 million naira to my account. To my greatest surprise, he then said the money he gave me was for me to rent an apartment and leave my husband. I was shocked.
After that, he kept calling, calling, and messaging me, but I was ignoring him, giving excuses and buying time. He sent one million naira through my friend, still pushing the same house rent issue. He wanted me to complete my rent with the money. The whole thing about him giving me money wasn’t as he has been claiming. He didn’t give me 10 million as he has said. It’s not even up to that amount. He’s been helping me out when I call him, but it’s always partial.”
