Senator Tambuwal Condemns Tragic Sokoto Airstrike, Calls for Justice for Civilian Victims

Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has expressed deep shock and condemnation following a tragic airstrike that mistakenly targeted two communities—Gidan Bisa and Rumtuwa—in Silame Local Government Area of Sokoto State. The attack, which occurred earlier today, resulted in multiple fatalities and left several others injured, sparking grief and outrage across the region.

In a heartfelt statement, Senator Tambuwal extended his sympathies to the bereaved families and the injured. “My deepest sympathies go out to the grieving families who have lost their relatives in this unfortunate attack. I also extend my heartfelt commiserations to the injured and stand in solidarity with the people of Silame during this difficult time,” he said.

The senator emphasized that the victims were innocent, hardworking citizens with no ties to criminal activities. “It is deeply upsetting that they should bear the brunt of such a tragic mistake,” he noted.

Senator Tambuwal also conveyed his condolences to the government and people of Sokoto State, urging unity and strength in the face of this devastating incident. “During this painful time, my thoughts are with you as you cope with this loss.
