Sen Barau hails Buhari for approving polytechnic in Kano
Senator Jibrin Barau, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, has praised President Muhammadu Buhari for signing the law creating the Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, in Kano State.
Senator Barau, in a personally signed statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Tuesday, said the building of the Polytechnic in Kabo, his home town, will speed up the development of the area while also providing opportunities for knowledge seekers to learn.
“I, Distinguished Senator Barau Jibrin, representing the people of Kano North Senatorial District in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, express my heartfelt gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for his approval of the Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, in Kano State.
“On behalf of the whole people of Kano North Senatorial Zone, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude to President Buhari for the historic development that has brought several multiplier impacts to the area.” “I also commend the Hon.
Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, for his unwavering efforts in advancing education in this country.” Education is undoubtedly the bedrock of any community’s growth and development, which Mr President has been promoting with the establishment of a series of tertiary institutions across the country since 2019. We owe him a debt of gratitude.
Barau offered the state government’s and people’s collaboration with the federal government to ensure the new polytechnic’s smooth launch in October.

President Muhammadu Buhari recently approved the development of three new polytechnics throughout the country.
The new institutions will be placed in Kano, Abia, and Delta states, according to a statement released by the Federal Ministry of Education’s Director of Public Relations on Tuesday.
