JUST IN: SuperTV CEO, Usifo Ataga Laid To Rest [Photos]

Usifo Ataga, the slain Super TV Chief Executive Officer (CEO), was laid to rest.

He was buried at Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, July 30, 2021, in a low-key ceremony attended by his family, including his wife, and friends.

According to NEWS DIRECT, the state police command paraded one Chidinma last month (June 2021) for the purported murder of Utaga in the Lagos neighborhood of Lekki.

Chidinma, a 21-year-old University of Lagos (UNILAG) student, admitted to killing Utaga while speaking to journalists. However, she later claimed that she made the statement under duress.

Contrary to her original confession, Chidinma denied her role in the Super TV CEO’s murder, claiming that some unidentified individuals gained entrance to the service apartment where the murder was to be carried out.

Chidinma went on to say that Ataga had marital issues before to his death, and that he spent time with her because he was tired of his wife.

According to her, Ataga remained married to his wife mainly for the sake of their children.
