I’m Happy To Go To Prison Though I Did Not Rape Anybody — Nollywood Actor, Moses Armstrong
Moses Armstrong, a controversial Nollywood actor who was jailed for allegedly raping a young woman, said that even though he was innocent of the allegation and other counts against him, he was glad to have been sent to prison.
Recall that the Akwa Ibom State Government took the Nollywood actor before the State High Court in Uyo, the state capital, where he was charged with rape, intimidation, conspiracy, and providing medications or equipment to obtain an abortion.
Armstrong was initially detained on June 13 and when the four count accusations were read to him, he pleaded innocent, but he was held in custody.
Meanwhile, he was released from the prison after he was granted a bail of N5million by the presiding Judge, Justice Ntong Ntong.
After his release, Armstrong took to his Facebook account to express his mind and maintained that he never raped anybody, but that he was happy he went to the prison knowing that God went with him.
He noted that his experience in prison was “awesome” and that he would share his story soon.
“#NoOneButGod… Nothing Pass God… If you believe, you will receive. Nothing Pass God. I did not rape nobody… I don’t rape…I have never raped… And I will never rape. I’m back stronger and better… I’m happy I went to prison, God went with me. The experience is awesome. You will hear it soon. Blessings to all of you Angels that believed in me.
