Seasoned IT professional Mac Eze Nwachukwu congratulates Tinubu over victory at Tribunals

Nigerian-American IT specialist Mac Eze Nwachukwu has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following his victory at the Presidential Electoral Petitions Tribunal.

In an open letter titled “How to Leverage Technology to Fight Corruption in Nigeria and Foster Harmony in America,” Nwachukwu said Tinubu’s triumph is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the progress and prosperity of Nigeria.

Presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party had asked the court to invalidate the election, alleging irregularities.

But the judges rejected all claims made by Labour Party candidate Obi, including fraud, charges electoral authorities broke the law and allegations Tinubu was ineligible to run.

The court was dismissed the petition filed by PDP candidate Abubakar, saying it lays out similar complaints against the February 25 election results.

Meanwhile, both Atiku and Obi have declared their intention to approach the Supreme Court and congratulating Tinubu is Nwachukwu who is also a former digital communications intern at Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton’s office, says critical issues affect both countries.

The statement reads in part:

“I write with a sense of profound delight and immense pride to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on your recent triumph at the Nigerian Appeal Court.

“Your triumph is a testament to your unwavering commitment to the progress and prosperity of Nigeria, and it brings a renewed sense of hope to Nigeria.

“I pen this letter as an earnest appeal, seeking the privilege of a meeting with you during the sidelines of your forthcoming visits to the United Nations and the White House.

“I firmly believe that such an encounter could serve as an invaluable platform for us to engage in dialogue regarding Nigeria’s future and to explore innovative solutions to address the most pressing challenge. I have also written to President Biden to discuss my proposal and my letter has been acknowledged.

“One pivotal topic I wish to discuss pertains to a proposal aimed at harnessing AI and automation technology to combat corruption within the Nigerian Government’s procurement sector.

“Corruption has persistently plagued Nigeria, impeding progress and eroding the trust of citizens. I ardently believe that by embracing the capabilities of modern technology, we can make significant strides toward fostering a more transparent and accountable government procurement process.

“Your administration has already demonstrated exceptional dedication to reforming Nigeria, and I commend the remarkable progress achieved thus far
“I would also like to take this moment to extend my heartfelt appreciation to your esteemed wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her unwavering support and steadfast commitment to your journey of leadership.

Behind every successful leader, there is a strong and supportive partner, and Mrs. Tinubu’s contributions are truly commendable.”
