No Move- Drama As Osimhem Transfer Talk Collapses

Victor Osimhen will remain at Napoli after negotiations between the Serie A club and Chelsea failed to result in an agreement before the summer transfer deadline.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that talks between Napoli and Chelsea collapsed late in the window, leaving Osimhen in a challenging situation. Romano posted on his X account, “No agreement between Victor Osimhen and Chelsea even after a new proposal was presented two hours ago. Deal completely off for Victor Osimhen. No agreement with Chelsea, and the #CFC delegation is now leaving Napoli. If nothing happens from Saudi in the next three days, Osimhen will stay at Napoli but he’s not gonna be part of the first-team squad. Relationship currently completely broken.”

Earlier, Romano had mentioned that Napoli had reached an agreement with Saudi club Al Ahli for Osimhen, with a deal valued at €75-80 million. The proposed contract included a four-year term with Osimhen earning €25-30 million per season. Romano also noted that Al Ahli had included an affordable release clause in their offer, which was lower than the previously reported €100 million.
