The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported no COVID-19 deaths in the last 48 hours.
NCDC reported the last death on Thursday, according to data obtained by DAILY POST on Sunday from its Saturday survey.
Meanwhile, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, Afenifere’s National Publicity Secretary, died of COVID-19 complications on Saturday morning, according to sources.
The Afenifere’s spokesman was said to have died in a Lagos State University Teaching Hospital isolation center.
However, the health agency missed the death in a report released on Saturday night via its official website.
Meanwhile, the National Center for Health Statistics (NCDC) has registered 50 new cases in six states, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 163,113.
