Killer squad in army uniform invades Lagos, mount illegal road blocks to rob motorists, riddle their bodies with bullets

In Case You Missed It

A killer squad that disguises wearing Army camouflage has invaded the Lagos metropolis.

This squad mounts illegal road blocks at different parts of the state to carry out their illegal activities.

So far, over five innocent Nigerians have been killed and their cars stolen in the last two weeks after their encounter with the squad.

The modus operandi of the squad who are five in number is to wear military camouflage with no name tags.

They pretend to be on the lookout for criminals when they are infact the real criminals.

They target new Toyota or Camry cars which they flag down on sighting, dispose their victims of their mobile phones, cars and jewelry before riddling  them with bullets.

There are indications that the killer squad was responsible for the death of Adeniyi Sanni, an aide to Senator Solomon Adeola.

The Street Journal had earlier reported that the  Senator had alleged that soldiers of the Nigerian Army were responsible for the death of his aide.

Senator Adeola had earlier stated that information available to him leading to the death of Sanni indicated that he was stopped at a checkpoint around the Ojodu-Berger Area of Lagos on his way  home at Isheri by ‘security agents’ who asked for his vehicular papers only to snuff life out of him.

He called on the Chief of Army Staff, Maj. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, to direct the fishing out of the killers of his aide for further investigation, prosecution, and justice for the deceased.
