Son to demised Nigerian politician, Moshood Kashimawo Olawale (MKO) Abiola, Mumuni Abiola has decided to speak about his brother, Kola Abiola. He alleged that the former presidential candidate was in a relationship with former military president, Ibrahim Babangida’s daughter during the period that his father was imprisoned.
Mumuni Abiola who made such allegation during an interview with Channels TV host, Seun Okinbaloye few hours ago, claimed that the people that became leaders of the 1993 elections are the same people that said they are going to kill MKO Abiola, adding that he does not understand how David Mark became the Senate President in a democratic country and why General Abdulsalami Abubakar keeps talking about peaceful elections as if he knows what it means.
However, on speaking about his brother and politician, Kola Abiola, Mumuni Abiola stated that he could have been a strong voice of true democratic value but he was not, adding that he was having relations with Ibrahim Babangida’s daughter at the time his father was still in jail.

In his own words, Mumuni Abiola mentioned that;
“The last time I met kola he said and I quote his words, do you want to do fire for fire?. I wonder how he thought he could be president, he could not manage Abiola’s empire, how can he manage Nigeria? He could have been a strong voice of true democratic value, but he chose not to. Apparently, at the time my father was still in jail, he was having relations with Babangida’s daughter.”
