Top PDP Politician Reveals The Guinness World Record Tinubu Deserves

Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, has reacted to President Bola Tinubu’s demand for Guinness World Records recognition.

Frank criticized Tinubu’s aspirations to be recognized in the Guinness World Records for reforms initiated during his tenure.

Tinubu made this statement during the 10th German-Nigerian Business Forum in Germany, saying, “To me, if you didn’t mention me in the Guinness Book of Records, I’d strive to find a way to insert myself because I did it without expectation.”

In response, Frank issued a statement asserting that the only world record Tinubu has set is causing severe economic pains and unbearable hardship for the people. Frank questioned the effectiveness of Tinubu’s reforms, particularly highlighting the negative impact of the removal of fuel subsidy on the average citizen.

Frank emphasized that despite Tinubu’s claim to be in Germany to attract investors, the negative records he allegedly set would discourage foreign investments. He pointed out that the purported reforms had adversely affected the nation’s currency, with the exchange rate now exceeding N1,000 for $1.

Frank remarked, “Foreign investors will definitely not go to a country with a flawed electoral process or where the judiciary cannot be trusted to guarantee justice to protect their investments.” He also highlighted the discrepancy in Tinubu’s claim of removing fuel subsidy yet his government still pays subsidy secretly while the pump price of fuel and other essential petroleum products has astronomically increased, causing hardships for the citizens.
