JUST IN: President Tinubu Mourns As Top Ex-Senator Dies

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the Eze family following the death of Sen. Ayogu Eze.

Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, conveyed this message in a statement released on Thursday in Abuja.

Sen. Eze, who represented Enugu North Senatorial Zone in the Senate from 2007 to 2015, held various significant posts during his tenure, including Committee Chairman on Information and Media and Chairman of the Committee on Works.

Tinubu also extended his sympathies to the friends, associates, and former colleagues of the late senator, including the National Assembly as an institution. He prayed for solace and comfort for those grieving, asking God Almighty to grant Sen. Eze eternal rest.
